INDONESIA: The oldest cave painting discovered 45,000 years ago

Archaeologists have unearthed the world's oldest surviving painting on a cave wall in Indonesia. This image is of a wild boar, and is thought to have been made 45,500 years ago.
Dark red is used in this picture and it is the original size picture of 'Silvasi Warti Pig'.
The painting was discovered in the Liang Tedongne Cave in a remote valley on the island of Silvassi. This is the oldest evidence of human population in the region.
Maxim Albert, co-author of a report in the Science Advances Journal on the painting, says the people who made the painting were "completely modern, they were just like us, and could make any kind of picture." They had the necessary equipment and capabilities.
